Staff & International Staff
A World-Class Team, Literally
Thank you for your interest in joining the Windridge Tennis and Sports Camps team. We're always on the lookout for passionate, talented sports enthusiasts who love connecting with athletes from across the U.S. and around the world. If you're the kind of person who thrives on coaching, having fun, and making a real difference in kids' lives — you belong here. This is more than a summer job. It's an unforgettable experience. Our dynamic counselors are handpicked based on their ability and experience in teaching others. Many are involved in competitive play, have strong coaching backgrounds, or are studying a sports-related degree. With so much talent in one place, your own skills and knowledge will grow too.
A Truly International Community
Windridge is proud to be a world-class team — literally. Of the 85–95 staff members who work at Windridge each summer, approximately 60% come from outside the United States, bringing with them a diversity of backgrounds, languages, cultures, and coaching styles that make our camp experience unlike any other.
In past summers, Windridge has welcomed staff from:
United Kingdom · Canada · Mexico · France · Spain · Germany · Australia · New Zealand · South Africa · Netherlands · Switzerland · Hungary · Portugal · Czech Republic · Poland • Colombia • Brazil • Romania • Bulgaria • Malaysia • Italy • Suriname • Slovakia
Our international staff play a vital role in helping campers understand and appreciate the world they live in. The cross-cultural friendships formed at Windridge — between staff and campers alike — are among the most lasting and meaningful takeaways from a summer here.
What It Means to Be a Windridge Counselor
Working at camp is both deeply rewarding and genuinely demanding — and we wouldn't have it any other way. The safety of our campers and the quality of instruction are our top priorities. A Windridge counselor is, for a short time, a trusted caregiver and mentor to kids whose families have placed their confidence in us. That responsibility can feel enormous, but if you love children and show up fully for them, they'll give back to you a thousand times over. Many of our staff call it the best summer of their lives — and we think you will too.
As a Windridge counselor, you'll:
- Build lifelong friendships with staff and campers from around the world
- Make a meaningful impact on young athletes
- Sharpen your coaching, communication, and leadership skills
- Gain real-world experience that stands out on any résumé
- Have the best summer of your life in the Vermont mountains
The Windridge experience doesn't end when camp does. The friendships you make here follow you home — through texts, emails, and reunions that stretch across states and countries. There's truly nothing else like it.
